Will my order come with large and small denominations?

If your buying a travel currency like the euro or the pound then yes your order will come with large and small denominations.

If your buying a collector currency like the Iraqi Dinar or Zimbabwe Dollar those currencies you will select the denominations of your choice when ordering.

Do you charge commission?

No, all of our exchanges are commission free!

Can I order online and pickup in person?

No, we are an online only currency exchange. We do not have any physical locations like standard brick and mortar currency exchanges. However, if your doing a large currency exchange we can accommodate a in person meeting at one of our offices. Please contact sales to discuss your needs.

Where can I get a money order?

You can get a money order at any USPS post office, MoneyGram, Western Union or Walmart store.

Where can I get a cashiers check?

Cashiers checks are issued by banks only. You can get a cashiers check from your bank by visiting your local branch.

Who do I make my cashiers check or money order payable to?

Where can I get wire instructions?

We do not publicly provide wire instructions. Please email support@currencyliquidator.com to get instructions.

How come you do not accept personal or business checks?

Do to rampant fraudulent checks we no longer accept personal or business checks.

How come you do not accept credit and debit cards?

Accepting credit and debit card payments are very expensive to the customer and us as a business. Credit card companies treat a transaction for the purchase of currency as a cash advance so not only would we have to charge you more to cover the cost of accepting this payment method your credit card company will charge you additional fees. For those reasons we have elected not to accept those payment methods at this time.

How come you do not accept eChecks?

Only specialized payment processors have the ability to offer merchants with the ability to accept eChecks also known as ACH payments. Currently we not have the ability to accept that payment method.

Where do I mail my payment to?

We will give you a mailing address to send your payment to upon placing an order.

How should I mail my payment to you?

You can send your payment via any method you wish, but we recommend sending it with tracking regardless of what shipper you send it with.

When is my order considered locked in?

Orders lock in upon post mark.

How long does it take to clear my payment?

Typically we can clear your payment within 24-48 hours of receipt. In some cases it may take longer. We will not ship your order until we have cleared funds.

My tracking number isn’t working?

When we process and ship an order we send you your tracking information before its actually picked up from our office by the shipping carrier. However, the tracking number will begin working after 5 PM PST so keep checking on it.

Will my order require signature?

Yes, all shipments from us to our customers require signature upon delivery.

Will my order be insured?

Yes, all shipments are shipped fully insured unless otherwise stated.

Why do I have to verify my identity on transactions of $1,000 or more?

Currency Liquidator is a licensed and registered financial institution on a state and federal level. Because of that we have certain laws and rules we have to follow just like a bank does. State and federal regulators have rules and laws in place to combat money laundering, terrorism and other finically related crimes. Because of that they require us to verify a customers identity on cash transactions exceeding $1,000.

If my order is under $1,000 will have to verify my identity?

No, the law only requires we verify your identity on transactions of $1,000 or more. So if your order is under the $1,000 mark we will not require you to verify your identity.

What information will I be required to provide?

The information we collect to verify your identity is the following

  • First name and last name
  • Home Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Government issued Photo ID
  • Social security number

How do I provide my information to Currency Liquidator to verify my identity?

To verify your identity you will login to your account and click on “verify my identity.” From there we will walk you through the process of verifying your identity.

Currency Liquidator only collects your information to comply with the federal and state laws governing financial transactions only.

Verifying your identity can be as-fast-as 60 seconds or as slow as 1-to-3 business days.

What process do you use to grade the notes sold to Currency Liquidator?

  2. Your package is opened and every note reviewed under security cameras
  3. Your notes are counted, authenticated and graded by our staff
  4. We submit a final offer to you via email for your review and acceptance

What types of things can affect the condition of the banknote?

Excessive handling, counting, folding, paper clips, improper storage, smoking, rubber bands, light andhumidity can all affect the condition of your banknotes.
